Coach Trevor Phillips

Coach Trevor has over twenty years of basketball experience.  A native of Mississauga Coach Trevor attended high school at Burhamthorpe Collegiate and as a starting guard he averaged over 12 points and 10 assist per game.  After graduating from high school Coach Trevor attended Humber College and played two seasons in the OCAA.  He later attended Kingsway College in Oshawa. In 2002 Coach Trevor decided to turn his talent towards coaching and decided to volunteer his time to the Toronto 5-0 REP Club 1993 boys team.  For the past five years Coach has been coaching the 1993 Toronto 5-0 REP team. And, for the past three years his team has placed in the OBA’s division #1 top five.  In 2005 Coach Trevor joined Baller Sports Club as a partner and as a Head Coach.

Coach Fred Grannum

Coach Fred Grannum

Fred has played 4 years of College basketball, 2 years in the NJCAA at Cloud County Community College (Kansas), one year in the OCAA at Canadore College (Northbay, ON) and played his final year at Durham College (Oshawa, ON). As a player he has won The OCAA All Star Award twice during the regular season and the playoffs.

He then continued his basketball career in Sport Event Management and Game Operations working for the Toronto Raptors and NBA Properties. Fred is currently coaching the Havergal Sr. Girls Basketball team who finished their 2005 regular season with an amazing record of 21 wins - 0 loses, Assistant Coach of the Oakville Venoms, and Head Coach of the Mississauga Pride Juvenile Players Team.

Dr. Kevin Cheyne

Dr. Kevin Cheyne (Athletic Therapist)

Dr. Cheyne obtained his Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University in 2003, majoring in Life Sciences.  After graduation, Dr. Cheyne continued his studies at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2007.  He also attended the McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program and received his diploma in 2007.

Dr. Cheyne works with each patient to determine patient goals and develops an individualized treatment plan tailored to the patient’s needs.  Dr. Cheyne stresses the importance of not only relieving symptoms but also working with the patient to treat the underlying biomechanical nature of the injury. He uses evidence-based, multi modal treatment plans focused on function and biomechanical restoration to help people achieve an active and healthy lifestyle.
